The Coastal experience is truly unique. With quaint downtown Half Moon Bay with it's a variety of retail business and eateries, you can drive north on Hwy 1, between the small towns, you'll see produce growing on the east side and surfers on the west. Then we have the Harbor where some people call it home, fishing boats are waiting for the season or boats are docked waiting for a leisure sail outside the break wall.
As you continue, you'll see a variety of restaurants before the private airport (which has its own eatery), more farming and homes in each small town you pass. The frequently visited beaches are scattered starting with the State Beach in Half Moon Bay to the infamous Devils Slide tunnel at the end for Montara.
Having lived and served on the coast for over 20 years, I can imagine enjoying live anywhere else!
